Story

For the first 100 years of the business, the Johnnie Walker Master Blenders came exclusively from within the Walker family, John Walker himself beginning an unbroken lineage of blending expertise. Today’s Master Blender, Jim Beveridge, has crafted Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve to celebrate this lineage, and the 190 years in total of the Master Blender’s art at Johnnie Walker.

Origin

Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve Whisky has a golden heritage, containing Clynelish Single Malt Scotch Whisky, where legendary deposits of gold have been found in the river that feeds the whisky. Other whiskies have been handpicked by Master Blender Jim Beveridge as a testament to the Johnnie Walker art of blending.

How to enjoy

A whisky for special occasions, Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve delivers waves of wood flavour plus a lightly smoked finish that are perfect for savouring neat. Pour about 50ml into a tumbler or rocks glass. Handcrafted to perfection, the whisky can be lengthened with water to bring out the sweet fruits in the blend, and create a lightly golden, delicious long drink. Or serve over ice to accentuate its delicate, lighter tones. The creamy, rich notes in Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve make it an ideal drink with dessert or after dinner. Take time to appreciate the truly fine quality of this Johnnie Walker blend. An exceptional range of blended whiskies offers the bold, characterful Johnnie Walker Red Label Whisky, the smooth, balanced Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky, the dark, smoky Johnnie Walker Double Black Label Whisky, complex Johnnie Walker Platinum Label Whisky and the true craftsmanship of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Whisky.
